It has been specifically manufactured by Posh Chalk to be the perfect accompaniment for furniture upcycling and use with the line of Posh Chalk products. Our clear extending wax is a premium quality oil based and extremely dense product. It has a smooth, polish-like consistency, and a wonderful aroma. It is a clear wax ideal for buffing any piece of furniture. You can use it to seal furniture in order to add protection and to add a premium quality finish to bare wood. It is also a wonderful oil-based finishing option for painted furniture.  You can also use it as an extender wax with Posh Chalk Patinas or other oil based gilding waxes and it will dilute the patina so you can do a ‘fade-out’ effect.  This Clear Wax can be tinted with Metallic Pigments or matte Color Kicks to create a tinted wax.
