Use it to build up three-dimensional surfaces and create wonderfully tactile textures. Apply a coat of chalk or mineral paint on top, and the paint itself will crack! You will find that by using our crackle mediums and other products, you can introduce real character to the project that you are working on, either in specific areas or across the whole piece. Each crackle will be unique in size and shape, giving a wonderful natural feel. How to Use: Apply our Crackling Gel generously to a non-absorbent base (primed or painted) and leave to dry.  Note:  Whatever color your base is - will be what shows through the cracks.  You can gently speed up the drying process with a hair dryer or heat gun.
