'The Morning After Nighthawks' matted print 18"h x 24"w
The Morning After Nighthawks Matted print 18"h x 24"w I took the composition from “Nighthawks” by Hopper and reversed the light and attitudes. I added a little local mythology into the painting as well. If you look closely at the light pole in the foreground, you will see a green bouquet with two dark red roses. This is a memorial to Patrick Duffy. He was a panhandler and ex Vietnam war “tunnel rat”. He passed away while I was working on this painting. A local beat poet pizza delivery woman left that memorial to him there. So I included it. This image is printed on archival gloss paper Professionally matted with archival white matte board With matting the size is 18″ high x 24″ wide The image area is 11″ high x 17½″ wide Signed The frame is not included FREE Shipping in the U.S.!
