The Alley was located at 3228 N Clark Street in Chicago, and closed officially January 22, 2016. The store had been a shopping destination for local alt/punk/goth/counter-culture locals, musicians, artists, actors, and sooooo many wannabe hardcore high-school kids. The Alley held its own Funeral Party on Sat, Jan 16, 2016. The night of the party, with the store at maximum capacity, the line stretched 2 blocks long, with many long-time customers waiting in 20F weather to experience the famous Alley store one last time. This pale black t-shirt is a piece of true Chicago punk rock history.
