When you move to the country everyone knows you have to guard your flower baskets and just about everything else form the deer population. We had just moved to Montana from the city suburbs. We made the mistake of hanging baskets with potato plants as part of the green foliage on our front porch. One night we heard a crash and just though maybe the wind had blown down the basket. Then one evening, as we sat enjoying the sunset, my husband looked up and said…didn't there used to be potato plants in the baskets along with flowers. Well, that be came the theme.
