I am excited to rerelease my cd "i am free”, produced in 2003—a celebration of God's healing in my life from memories of childhood abuse. These songs were downloaded to me over years of a dark and difficult time, and the words and music comforted me greatly. I titled it “i am free” because at the time I was finally free of the memories, and it was when I was listening to the mixes after recording, that my art began pouring out of me. Catapulting me from darkness to light! I've come a very long way--and am in a very good place in my life right now. I feel extremely blessed. We all have a story, right? I grew up with an alcoholic grandfather and journeyed with a son who experienced drug addiction for 17 years. I always say that life is like a college course—Life 101—darkness vs. light. I told my son we have both experienced that—just in different ways. Whether you suffer from depression, abuse, addiction, or any type of trauma, I pray that either one or all of these songs will r
