Both blades and foils are forged from high-quality hypoallergenic stainless steel for comfort, even on sensitive skin.  Replace blades and foil when dull (every 12-24 months depending on usage) to maintain an optimal shaving performance.  Simply remove the worn blade and foils and snap the new ones into place.
