Chlorhexidine Recommended dilution rate: 1 oz. chlorhexidine per 1 gal. water Chlorhexidine Disinfectant Instructions Fill a spray bottle with 32oz of water. Add 1/4 oz of Chlorhexidine (1 1/2 tsp). Slowly add the concentrate to the water allowing it to mix. Your disinfectant is now ready to use! Once mixed with water your disinfectant will be very effective for 6 weeks but will slowly start to lose effectiveness after that 6-week period.
