Simple Biodegradable Urn

This simple urn serves as a beautiful tribute, whether you prefer its elegant design as it is or wish to personalize it further. You may enhance it by decorating with photographs, inscribing written messages, or incorporating natural materials such as paper, glass, or wood (please no metal or plastic). The urn is designed to float momentarily before gracefully sinking, releasing the ashes underwater and biodegrading naturally over time. Please note that the duration of floating can vary based on factors such as the weight of the ashes, weather conditions, and water currents. It is designed to accommodate a full portion of adult ashes to ensure proper sinking; for smaller portions, we recommend adding weighted material, such as sand or stones, to facilitate submersion. Federal guidelines for burial at sea stipulate that cremated remains must be scattered at least three nautical miles from the shore.
