Sported by Tom Selleck during the series’ run, this bold combination playing palm fronds and purple parrots off a bright red background is now featured in the Smithsonian Museum of American History. The pattern known as “Jungle Bird” then resurfaced with the show’s reboot on an episode in November 2019, worn this time by Jay Hernandez.  Now an iconic design, this print captures the essence of a genuine aloha shirt dating all the way back to the 1930s and 1940s.
