Rolex automatic Reference 1530. Introduced in 1975. Rolex created the case design for Oysterquartz, which is reminiscent of Royal Oak and Nautilus, before the development of the quartz movement was finished two years later. Therefore Rolex encased some of the cases around (and at most) 1,500 units, up until the quartz movement was ready in 1977. The dial of the 1530 was originally silver, although the patina has created more of yellow tone over the years. Additionally, the angular minute scale with the offset dial is somewhat more dynamic than the dials seen on the later Oysterquartz models.The dial of this Rolex Oyster Ref. 1530 is in exceptionally good condition, has a brushed silver finish, applied index markers, with classic 'ROLEX’ and ‘OYSTER PERPETUAL DATE' text referenced on it. The distinctive, angular case is sharply beveled, with diameter of 36mm.
