  The E404X is a LTE-M cellular device with support for BLE (Bluetooth LE). It is specifically designed for mass scale manufacturing and integration. It is based on the Nordic nRF52840 microcontroller shared with other Gen 3 devices such as the Boron and B Series SoM. It is only intended for use in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. It is a SMD module designed to be reflowed to your own custom base board and is the same size and footprint as other E Series modules and has mostly compatible pin functions.. If you are migrating from the E402 or E404, there is a migration guide available.This module is not recommended for new designs. New designs should use the B404X SoM instead.
