Jura Brew Group Drainage Valve J, Z and GIGA Models Drainage Valve for Jura Brew Group. The drainage valve is attached to the bottom of the brew group. It allows the hot water into the brew group for brewing coffee. Inside the drainage valve, there are double lip gaskets that harden over time due to scale in water. This results in the reduced flow of hot water into the brew group. Thus resulting in weak or slow coffee output from the front of the machine.  Replacing the drainage valve is simpler as rebuilding can be time consuming and there are chances of errors.
