AIX Rosé, Coteaux d'Aix, Provence

A step up in quality from Cotes de Provence, the grapes for AIX Rosé are sourced entirely from Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence, a smaller region in the far west corner of Provence. This area is fairly close to the Rhône Valley, and is strongly influenced by the strong Mistral winds. This breeze allows the grapes to retain beautiful acidity, and we think this AIX Rosé is a great example of the quality from this region Blend: 60% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 20% Cinsault Critical Acclaim James Suckling - 90 points Pale peach-colored rosé with aromas of roses, strawberries, melon and cream.
