Calx Primitivo, Puglia

Calx Primitivo is one of our favorite lighter reds off the beaten path. Named after the latin word for Limestone, Calx is made from Primitivo grown primarily on limestone. Primitivo, the identical twin of Zinfandel, often produces fuller, fruitier wines, but this Calx is the antithesis of that style. This is a super elegant light reds that are somehow tart and smooth at the same time. Ridiculously drinkable!
