Description This shiraz is a tribal rug, adorned by a classic medallion pattern surrounded by a field of primative flowers. As with all tribal rugs, the motifs featured in this rug were knotted from memory by the weaver, likely passed down by generations and learned as a child. The rug's wool-on-wool construction lends a highly flexible, soft, and supple feel to the rug—it could be wrapped around its owner like a blanket. This rug has been treated with an antique wash, softening its tones to appeal to the palette of any modern-day home. Pattern, color variation, and signs of wear with vintage items is normal.
