Introduction: This Patek Philippe 2452J 35mm vintage Calatrava was is made in 18K yellow gold. The watch is fitted with a 10"200 caliber movement #956774, case #667024.  The watch has a silver white dial with applied raised gold hour markers Date & Paperwork: The watch was made in 1951 and sold in 1954, confirmed with an extract from the archives confirming its date of manufacture and further sale.  Additionally, the watch comes with a one year movement guarantee.Essay:  Introduced in 1949, the reference 2452 was immediately distinguished by its highly attractive fluted lugs giving a striking aesthetic feature to the design. Those examples produced from 1949 to 1951 were fitted with the caliber 10-200. While later modes contained the caliber 12-400, and was produced in both yellow and rose gold.
