Patek Philippe 96J Vintage 1st Calatrava Watch, 30.5mm Circa 1949

Introduction:Patek Philippe 96J Calatrava watch.  The watch is made in 18K yellow gold and the case measures 30.5 mm and is fitted with a 12"120 caliber manual wind movement # 962203/ 302138.  The watch has a silvered white dial with raised lapped gold indexes.  The watch was made in 1949 and is accompanied with an extract from the archives confirming its date of manufacture and further sale.  Multiple strap options are available. Condition:  This example is totally original.  With its Long "Signature dial, strong hallmarks stamps on back of case and back of lug. Essay:  The reference 96 is a cornerstone of Patek Philippe production, and the first example of what is today possibly the most elegant and distinguished line of dress watches: the Calatrava collection.
