Whether you're new to matcha or an experienced Cha No Yu practitioner, this set includes everything you need to prepare matcha the way it's been done in Japan for centuries. The set includes a ceramic chawan (matcha bowl), a chasen (bamboo whisk), and a chashaku (bamboo scoop) — the three tools that have been used in Japan for generations to make a proper bowl of matcha. The bowl is wide and open, giving you enough space to whisk comfortably and build up a good froth.  Chawan has a soft, organic shape, slightly uneven in an intentional, not accidental way.
