Unique youth’s silverplate knife and fork set made by 1847 Rogers Brothers of Meriden,Connecticut. The pattern is called “Fairie” and it was first produced in 1892. It features a young girl playing with toys. On the knife she is playing with a hoop, and on the fork she is carrying around a doll. The set is ornate and special, making it a lovely heirloom gift for any child. The set was estate-owned and is in excellent antique condition. It has a patina to it, but could be polished if preferred. The fork measures 6 1/8” in length and the knife is 7 3/8”.
