Striking antique Joseph Schachtel divided lobster serving dish. This heavy, well made porcelain dish is accented all around with 22kt gold. The lobster forms a handle between the divided bowls for serving. The piece is marked with the artist number but missing the J.S. Germany mark. Measures 13 3/4”across x 10 5/8” wide x 4 3/8” at tallest point. Near mint condition. No cracks, chips, breaks, repairs or utensil marks. The gold shows wear on the lobster tail handle, typical of a piece this age. Please review all photos carefully for condition and consideration. Estate item. Condition is Pre Owned.
