The detailing, including horns that seem splashed in gold (actually brass), highlights the harmonious blend of these metals. The copper's coloration is achieved through torch heating, producing a spectrum of hues from oranges to reds, and then sealed in with a lacquer. The face of the bull has significant definition and form, enhanced by brass detailing. This is an original design by Patricia Healey.
