"Day 11" is an original painting by Patrick Shaffer. It is one painting out of a collection of fifty called "The Blue Whale Challenge" Dimensions: 72 x 48" Material: Acrylic paint on Canvas This body of work will be examining The Blue Whale Game. A suicide game where a group of administrators(curators) give a participant a different task to complete daily, for a period of 50 days. The final of which is the participant committing suicide. This suicide game began on the Internet in 2016 and is currently still being played. The 50-day period of tasks directly relates to the 50 paintings that make up this body of work.
