This course includes in-class discussion as well as hands-on experience and is followed by a live-fire session where students will have the opportunity to handle  a variety of pistols, rifles, and shotguns at the range. The in-class portion of this course covers the fundamental knowledge and approach to handling, operating, possessing, storing, and transporting a firearm safely and in accordance with state and federal firearms laws.
