The story Inspired by pastry chef notes and recipes, journaling, vintage scrapbooking, note making and the art of baking.   Starting as a vintage recipe themed design challenge entry, this design is a combination of love for notes and languages - that is, notes in different languages! Scrutinize it to see excerpts in French, Portuguese and German, combined with watercolor paintings of a fig cake and pomegranate fruit.  The design was hand-painted and drawn in watercolor and ink, complemented by lots of Darya's actual handwriting, block printing, and includes vintage ephemera such as letters, cahier journals and scrapbooking papers.
