It all started when our Colombian export partners Fairfield Trading put together a regional lot from many producers in Nariño... There was no specific farm or co-op to name the coffee after, so they called it "Zaperoco" after a nightclub frequented by coffee folks in the city of Cali, Colombia. Since our house blend is named after a notorious Boston rock club, we embraced the concept wholeheartedly! Zaperoco has become our name for the expertly constructed regional lots that we source from Colombia. Many producers with small farms in Huila contributed to the Zaperoco you are about to enjoy!
