From the Diana Maria Mine in Durham England Frosterley / Weardale Area These range between 1.5-2.5"  When discovered, the miners pulled these fluorite clusters from the earth and immediately noticed their striking color. In the twilight of the fading afternoon sun, they saw an array of swirling greens, blues and yellows that seemed to be frozen within the crystals. After some thought and conversation, they all agreed that these beautiful fluorite clusters reminded them of the northern lights and thus, the pocket was named as such. It's rare that we get such a personal and unique crystal like these but, we're really happy to be able to bring it to y'all. The northern lights pocket has since been exhausted and once these are gone, they are gone for good.
