Half Mortise Locks Antique Furniture Lock is a half mortise type for drawers and cabinet doors hinged on left. Lock fits into a partial cut out in furniture interior. No strike is necessary. Key turns one lever mechanism to secure lid. Once installed, lock is hidden from exterior view. This reproduction style not only provides an authentic antique appearance it also has stood the test of time, having been used for more than 200 years. Use on new cabinetry and as replacements on old furniture. If using on doors: this lock is handed for doors hinged on left.
