Round Knob Backplates Sheraton backplates for Knobs shield wood from wear caused by handling knobs. Their design, texture, and craftsmanship replicate those from the Federal period. Antique Sheraton Backplates Diameter: 1" Center mounting hole diameter: 5/32" Use with 1" Knobs, color variation Additional Sizes: 1-1/2" Backplate 2" Backplate This backplate is stamped brass with crisp detail and a rolled edge. The finish is a very light antique.  Although light, it does blend with the small 1" companion knob.  Measure & Install Circular Backplates Measure backplates according to outside diameter Center hole slips 8/32 screw Use same diameter Sheraton backplate and knob Mounts with single hole To install: Position backplate on drawer front. Insert machine screw, from drawer interior, through wood, through backplate and screw into back of knob.
