Digital Download Inspirational Prayer poem "Fear Not"   The Lord inspired this Digital download  “Fear Not”  prayer-poem from my original painting of Christ and the little girl by the dark sea. Both the painting and the illustrated poem echo the prophet Isaiah speaking for the Almighty in Isaiah 43:1-2:  “Fear not, I have redeemed thee, do not be afraid, for I have called thee by thy name, and you are Mine…” *(see Isaiah 43:1-2)  In my new painting, Jesus is leading the child, His hand is firmly linked with hers. This linking is a visual metaphor for prayer, or spiritual communication with the Lord. For prayer is how we stay linked or continue to walk with and abide in the Lord Jesus.  Despite the storm, and the child’s discouraged posture, the Lord is assuring her that He understands and loves her not for anything she does or does not do for Him.  For her work is not what matters the most to Him.
