Pawnee In-Shell Pecans

The Pawnee is the first pecan we harvest at Pearson Farm.  Originating from Texas, this pecan has gained popularity in the Southeast because of its large nut size and early nut maturity.  Pawnee pecans are a thin-shell variety with a beautiful light golden kernel.  A new favorite here at the farm, the Pawnee is our favorite first taste of fall! All of our In-Shell Pecans are USDA Grade U.S. Extra Fancy.  Please note that weather significantly affects our pecan crop.  Oil content is directly related to moisture totals, so a drier fall season will lead to less oil in pecans.   Pearson Farm guarantees that all of our in-shell pecans meet U.S. Extra Fancy standards as found in the U.S. Standards for Grades of Pecans in the Shell (Tolerances, §51.1406) put out by the USDA, and comply with international trade agreements.
