Iridescent Mink Skull, Beetle, and Butterfly Geode Cloche Display
This cloche display is made with a sturdy antiqued wood base and a domed glass top with a handle. Inside is a base of moss sculpted carefully around multiple chunks of real quartz geodes. Displayed inside is a mink skull that has been painted in layers of indigo iridescent mica powder. Perched on top of the skull is a purple rhinoceros beetle posed with with spread wings. Towards the back of the skull are two more insects, one blue frog legged beetle, and a gorgeous iridescent blue butterfly pinned with partially opened wings. *Please note that the cloche is detachable from the base. Handle with care, especially while unpacking!* Sourcing: This mink was sourced second hand. The butterfly has been sourced from a butterfly aviary breeding program, where butterflies are strategically bred and released to increase pollinator populations. Both the frog legged beetle and the rhinoceros beetle are captive bred pets.
