ANOINTED TO PREACH - LUKE 4:18 (Black)

Anybody can quote figures and tell others about anything but the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ is much more than a mere presentation of facts about a product just like sales representatives.  Colleges, universities, wonderful as they are, can only impart academic knowledge. Consequently, a professor may have there office wall decorated with many Degrees and still be unqualified to provide genuine and productive New Testament teachings. A person can be well read, eloquent, have be gifted in teaching and be able to empathize with people but without the anointing she cannot meaningfully and effectively preach the gospel. Preaching the gospel is what we’ve been called to do. The anointing in God’s children is the difference maker. Luke 4:18 says, "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that
