By removing either one or both of the inserts, you can have a more barefoot shoe for your child and increase the width of the shoe. These shoes open up very wide to help children with high volume feet fit in the shoe without a struggle. Froddo's shoes also work very well for kid's with narrow heels and they will stay on their feet!  Froddo produces their shoes using quality natural products and skilled, ethical labor to produce their shoes.
