50 mm Pellet Press Die Set

Pellet Die set for making 50 mm (~2 inch) pellets from powders.  50 mm (~2 inch) pellet die sets are commonly used for pellet preparation for XRF which require larger surface area compared to other techniques and for thin film research for making sputtering targets and pulsed laser deposition targets. These wider diameter dies can take large loads through them - 60 tons which is beyond the limit of most lab presses. You do not need to get to such high forces though for great pellets.
