Roman Statue Reproduction from Penn Museum

Penn Museum Custom Reproduction. The figure was adapted from a familiar Greek Hermes type of the later 4th century BC. The body may have been joined with the portrait head of a divinized emperor. The missing head was turned toward the upraised right hand which perhaps held a spear. Made exclusively for the Pen Museum, made in Egypt
