TRACE 1989 MONK SLIPPER - BOUCLE

The Monk slipper is a contemporary interpretation of the classic Belgian slipper and the double monk shoe. Combining the unique handwoven Boucle cloth traditionally used on mid-century modern sofa’s and chairs with Italian calf leather metal buckles, cemented onto a leather sole with stacked leather heel resulted in a perfectly crafted pair of slippers of which I am personally proud of.
