Osmanthus Oolong

The bright florals of this tea hit you like the first warm rays of spring after a long, dark winter, but the rich body of the lightly oxidized Taiwanese oolong reminds of us the full bloom of a garden—not just the flowers, but the full forest of greens.  We highly recommend re-steeping this tea as many times as you can. The florality never fades, but it does soften to a more balanced meadow-green, with a lasting vegetal sweetness with a breath of osmanthus.  Ugh.
