Nano Hone's original diamond plates are replaceable on our Backing Plate. The Surf Stone is the fast and efficient way to flatten any surface softer than diamonds (please note! our diamond resins are much softer than other brands). Rapidly achieve a consistent uniform scratch pattern with our surf pattern. Nano Hone is using their updated surf pattern based on user feedback and have closed the spacing between the waves precisely to maximize cutting speed and reduce catching.
