Sporthorse Testing Center: Fecal Egg Count Test

All fecal tests are for local Aiken customers only. Customers must collect their own samples. This test detects the presence of strongyles and ascarids in your horse as part of a deworming program in place with your veterinarian. It is recommended to perform this test at least twice yearly for every horse in your herd by collecting 2 fecal balls from a fresh, clean pile of manure and placing in a ziplock bag. Keep contents cool/refrigerated and bring to the testing center within 12 hours of collection. Fecal tests are included for all Equine Total Care participants. *Choose Options Below: 1 Fecal Egg Count Test or 4 Fecal Egg Count Tests (Can Be Used for Multiple Horses) Testing Center is open M-Th 8a-3pm and Fridays until 12pm. Please be sure all samples are dropped off during the correct timeframe. Turnaround for all tests is 24-48hrs. Rushed or Emergency tests should be taken directly to your veterinarian.
