1721 Copper Engraving Portrait Adam Baron Dietrichstein-Hollenburg EUM3

This is an original 1721 black and white copper engraving of "Adam Herr von Dietrichstain." This is a portrait of Adam Baron of Dietrichstein-Hollenburg-Finkenstein, a member of the Imperial Council of the Holy Roman Empire. He was the son of Siegmund von Dietrichstein and Barbara von Rothal. The portrait is framed by a wonderful decorative motif featuring filigreed designs and a stylized skull with wings at the bottom of the print. This piece is accompanied by the original German biographical text printed on two separate sheets featuring a decorative drop cap, beautiful vignette and a decorative tailpiece.CONDITIONThis 290+ year old Item is rated Near Mint / Very Fine.
