This is an original 1722 black and white copper engraving of "Ernestus Adalbertus ab Harrach," also known as Ernst Albrecht Harrach, an Archbishop of Prague, Bishop of Trent, Cardinal, and the Catholic Church reorganizer of Bohemia. The portrait is surrounded by a wonderful decorative motif mimicking a frame against a wonderfully etched background. It features two lions flanking a cherub at the top of the print and a cascading grape vine design framing the remainder of the portrait, uniting at the bottom of the print at an ornate, broach-like oval frame by two additional cherubs.CONDITIONThis 289+ year old Item is rated Near Mint / Very Fine.
