This is an original 1770 monochrome copper engraving of an architectural cross section and elevation of a proposed theatre by Gabriel-Martin Dumont, professor of architecture and member of the Academies of Rome, Florence and Bologna. Engraved by Benard Fecit, the section cuts the length of the theatre depicting the various levels, engineering and the stage.
