This is an original 1857 monochrome in-text wood engraving of the awe-inspiring Victoria Falls along the Zambezi River. Nestled on the border between Zimbabwe and Zambia, it was given the name Mosioatunya("The Smoke That Thunders") in Tokaleya Tonga. European explorer David Livingstone gave it it's western name after Queen Victoria, and today it is considered a UNESCO World Heritage Site.CONDITIONThis 155+ year old Item is rated Very Fine +++.
