1883 Ad Electric Lustre Starch Soap Clothing Laundry - ORIGINAL GROC1

This is an ultra rare small original 1883 black and white print ad for Electric Lustre Starch from the Electric Lustre Starch and Soap Company of New York. The ad writes, "Makes collars and cuffs as stiff and glossy as when new. One pound goes as far as two pounds of any other starch." This is one of the most rare grocery-related original advertising items we have procured. It is from a rare trade journal printed in original letterpress manner (you can feel the emboss, deboss feel to the letter printed areas of each ad). Images were woodblock prints for most and are amazing. The journal this was removed from only went to grocery owners and industry buyers. A one-of-a-kind item in this condition and size.
