This is an ultra-rare original 1893 color cover from the Chicago "The Inter Ocean" supplement of the Electricity Building at the Columbian Exposition. Van Brunt & Howe of Kansas City designed the building, and was constructed into fruition for a cost of $410,000. Period Paper has obtained arguably one of the most rare, exclusive collections of original color images of the 1893 Chicago World's Fair (The World's Columbian Exposition). Over the last several years we have acquired and sold thousands of items from this Exposition, and we continue to offer lithographs, prints, and photogravures. However; this exclusive collection is not offered publicly anywhere else.
