This is an original 1920 World War I sepia rotogravure of a marine general commanding the 2nd Division (Army). The men pictured include, Lieutenant Colonel Hugh Matthews, Colonel Preston Brow, Major General J. A. Lejeune, Colonel James C. Rhea and Lieutenant Colonel G. A. Herbst. The second image shows an artillery observer of Battery B, 21st Artillery, 5th Division, relaying military intelligence information via telephone. The last image shows machine gunners and supply trains waiting for a blocked road to be cleared in the war torn village. CONDITIONThis 91+ year old Item is rated Near Mint / Very Fine.
