This is an original 1920 World War I sepia rotogravure of Brigadier General Douglas MacArthur of the 84th Brigade, 42nd Division with his men near Fresnes, in the thrust to the Vesle. The second image shows the makeshift grave site of a fallen soldier of the 28th Division near Jaulgonne. The third image shows a cellar in a Chateau Thierry home where men found packages of French clothing addressed by German soldiers to be sent to their relatives back home. The last image shows a typical home in Chateau Thierry vandalized by the enemy during their occupancy. CONDITIONThis 91+ year old Item is rated Near Mint / Very Fine. Light foxing and aging.
