1922 Rotogravure German Munich Cityscape Castle Aggstein Schloss Austria Ruins

This is an original 1922 sepia rotogravure of Munich in Germany (Deutschland), and the Aggstein castle. The upper image features the capital of Bavaria, located on the Isar river. The Frauenkirche (or, Cathedral of Our Dear Lady) can be seen in the far distance. Burgruine Aggstein is located on the bank of the Danube river in Wachau, Austria (Österreich). The caption to the image writes, "Ruins of the castle of Aggstein, Germany, situated near the junction of the Rhine and Moselle, typical of the many picturesque medieval structures that stand on the banks of the river." We are unsure as to the discrepancy of location for the castle, as we cannot find any information on ruins of the same name on the Rhine or Moselle rivers.
