This is an original 1922 sepia rotogravure of several glider airplanes. The top image shows Klemperer's glider, which won first place in a competition in Roehn, Germany (Deutschland), after soaring for 21 minutes. In the circular image, a Berlin Aero Club plane is seen, and the center left image shows a German glider in a farm field. The bottom image shows a birdlike glider built by Mr. Schwerdt, which also performed at the contest in Roehn. CONDITIONThis 89+ year old Item is rated Very Fine +++. Light aging throughout.
